He returns and aims to describe what a basic residential PV system can look like and identify the main components. Grid-Connected vs standalone systems will be considered with a look at the types of battery storage systems available. Warren will run through the effectiveness of different orientations and roof angles, as well as the geographical location of the property. He will also look at new technology and alternatives to the traditional roof layout including a review of new PV product and combined PV & Solar thermal systems.
