I will present some dispersive properties for the linear Vlasov equation in geometric backgrounds motivated by the study of collisionless many particle systems in physical settings. I’ll begin discussing some features of the Vlasov equation in spaces with constant curvature. Later, I will present new results on the study of the Vlasov equation in the exterior of a spherically symmetric solution of the Einstein vacuum equations, the celebrated Schwarzschild black hole.
