Register for webinar access details, see below Marie-Anne Coninsx is a former official of the European Union (EU), with an extensive European diplomatic career. She was the first EU Ambassador at Large for the Arctic (2017-2019) and was previously the EU`s Ambassador to Canada (2013-2017), where she extensively visited the Canadian Arctic. She also previously served as the number two at the EU Delegations in New York and in Geneva, providing her with an wide-ranging experience on multilateral issues. Her talk will give us an insight into this impressive experience and introduce the climate change challenges facing the Arctic today. She will discuss the environmental and geo-economic consequences of ice melting in the Arctic and how the many raw materials in the European Arctic could be sustainably sourced.
