First Person Shooter games are a great example of how AI systems need to operate in limited-resource environment, and how modelling is used to mimic human behaviour. Using a fairly recently published game as a case study, I explore how fairly simple algorithms (a la the AI 1 course) can be used control the behaviour of AI ‘bots’.
