As hardware improves and we strive harder for graphical
realism, programmers are always looking for new techniques. Ray tracing and its variants aim to use a physical basis to improve the accuracy of lighting, resulting in more realistic images. This talk
will briefly review the topics covered in lectures, then expand on some of the techniques beyond that material.
