If you have a question about this talk, please contact Kirsty Shepherd. In this talk I will introduce myself and my new research group. I will cover my research background in biomedical optics and discuss some of the key techniques, such as near-infrared spectroscopy, which I develop to monitor the brain in a range of scenarios, from newborn intensive care to evolutionary neuroscience. I will outline the goals of my new lab and discuss plans for the future. This talk is part of the Electrical Engineering series.
