What role can or should taxation have in the management of tourism? What are the effects of such taxation, on tourist attractions, on local or national revenue and expenditure and on the various types of tourists? Our tour guide for this unusual perspective on the world of taxation is Dr Ji Guo. Based at the Judge Business School for this year, Dr Guo is an Associate Professor in the Business School at Beijing Normal University. Dr Guo has a PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado. As usual, this meeting is open to anyone. No technical knowledge of or prior experience of taxation is required.

This talk is part of the Cambridge Tax Discussion Group series.
