Polish Independence Day - Chopin Piano Recital by Piotr Pawlak

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s restoration of sovereignty at the end of World War I, after 123 years of disappearance from the maps due to the partition of our country.

On this special occasion, we want to warmly invite all of you for a special Chopin Piano Recital by Piotr Pawlak, followed by a celebratory drinks reception and dinner in Polonia Club.

Piotr Pawlak is a student of the Gdansk Musical Academy and a laureate of several Polish and international piano competitions, including winning the first prize in Darmstadt International Chopin Piano Competition (2017), second prize in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest (2018) and participating in XVII International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.

The repertoire of the recital: F. Chopin — Polonaise A-flat major op. 53 F. Chopin — Nocturne F-sharp major op. 15 nr 2 F. Chopin — Ballade A-flat major op. 47 I. J. Paderewski — Menuet G major op. 14 nr 1 P. Mykietyn — Four preludes for the piano F. Chopin — Étude E major op. 10 nr 3 F. Chopin — Étude a minor op. 25 nr 11
