This session will summarise the motivation, start-up and operation of the ‘STIM’ subscription-based consortium programme, now in it’s 6th year. STIM was set up to bring industrial participants and academics together around a set of research projects, and to facilitate company networking and sharing of practice, in an annual rolling format. Discussion will focus on operational aspects, in terms of the practical aspects of setting up and maintaining such programmes, including contractual and financial aspects.
