What is the future? How is it imagined and its social content decided? How have practices of foresight and projection developed, and who is authorised to plan for the future? Can the future be made more democratic?

Drawing on his experience as Head of UNESCO ’s Foresight programme and his recent path-defining book, Transforming the Future (Routledge Open Access 2018) author and expert Riel Miller will address and discuss these questions.
