If you have a question about this talk, please contact Vasee. In this SciBar, Roger Faires, Chartered Structural Engineer, will present a talk about Deciphering the structure of Victorian buildings. The Grade II listed Cambridge Union Society is undertaking major works, but the structural engineers need to be confident about altering a 130 year old building: how do we discover the history and think like a Victorian? Join us as we don stovepipe hats to decipher this Cambridge gem. The SciBar talk is free to attend, but please arrive before 7pm to ensure yourself a seat. Also please feel free to order food and drinks from the YHA bar, which you can enjoy during the talk.
