Our experience of the world is now increasingly mediated by digital or ‘smart’ devices. We invite artists, academics, developers and companies to join us in looking at exemplar projects in the world of mixed reality. This will include practical projects (installations) as well as assessment of where the field of mixed reality is going.

- Rupert Harris (, Creative Director at Animal Vegetable Mineral who has recently worked on digital experiences as part of Ai Wei Wei’s RA exhibition in Jan 2017 - Beth Singler (, Associate Fellow at Cambridge’s Centre for Future Intelligence, she’s recently researched whether machines can feel pain (Pain in the Machine) - Avril Furness (, VR Film Maker and Director, Avril will be talking about her past, present, and future projects – read about her award winning assisted suicide VR experience here –
