If you have a question about this talk, please contact Loren E. Held. Conformal field theories are ubiquitous, occurring on a spectrum varying from string theories to general critical points on renormalization group flows. We will introduce some of the interesting techniques that use conformal symmetry to compute CFT correlation functions and constrain CFT data, a notion we will try to understand. The discussion will try to include conformal symmetry, operator product expansions, partial wave expansions, and a first invocation of conformal bootstrap. This is useful for all future string theorists. This talk is part of the Part III Seminars series. This talk is included in these lists:Note that ex-directory lists are not shown. |
