Further detail
Managed by the Crucible network for research in interdisciplinary design (http://www.crucible.cl.cam.ac.uk), this occasional series provides a platform for visiting speakers who are eminent in the field of design research. Meetings generally focus on the role of the design as a means of engagement between the university and external business and social issues. Large debates usually have an audience of about 50-60, and feature a response from a senior figure in the Cambridge technology establishment before open discussion. Smaller meetings focus on specific themes or opportunities, and generally involve round-table discussion. If you have a question about this list, please contact: Alan Blackwell.
