DESCRIPTION:Single electron pumps can transport electrons one at a time at
high speed. Moving individual electrons at a known rate through a circuit
using these devices gives a very precise standard of current. \n\nMultipl
exer architecture allows the measurement of a large number of electron pum
ps to be carried out in a single cooldown using a limited number of lines.
Rectified current can mask the phenomenon of single electron features\, e
specially in the wide channel electron pump devices. \n\nI will present th
e preliminary results of GaAs multiplexed electron pump arrays and our mod
el to explain the rectified current.
