 searchers writing papers and theses.\n\nResearch Talk: MIMO in academia an
 d MIMO in the industry\, Francisco Monteiro\n\nThe talk will re-introduce 
 the problems arising in multiple-input multiple-output wireless systems an
 d will summarize some of the main ideas in current research. The talk will
  also attempt give some perspectives on how MIMO is perceived by people in
  industry and on the near future its implementation in wireless communicat
 ion devices.
