DESCRIPTION:*Short Description*\nA one-day symposium where leading scienti
sts from Cambridge and other institutions in Europe will gather to exchang
e ideas about the science and application of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs). CNTs
are cylinders of rolled graphene sheets and they belong to a relatively n
ew class of fibrous materials with a length scale in nanometer (i.e. one b
illionth of a metre). They can potentially be used in a wide range of high
-performance applications ranging from nano-composites and electronic devi
ces to drug delivery. \n\n*Keynote Speakers*\n* Prof. Gehan Amaratunga (Un
iversity of Cambridge\, UK)\n* Prof. Christian Bailly (Université Catholi
que de Louvain\, Belgium) \n* Prof. Francisco Chinesta (CNRS -ENSAM\, Fran

rentjev (University of Cambridge\, UK) \n* Prof. Mark Welland (Nanoscience
Centre\, University of Cambridge\, UK) \n* Prof. Alan Windle (University
of Cambridge\, UK) \n\n*Registration Fees (include coffee breaks\, buffet
