DESCRIPTION:Aromanian is an Eastern Romance variety which is c
urrently considered to be endangered. In this talk
\, I am going to present a cluster of Aromanian va
rieties spoken by bilingual Greek-Aromanian speake
rs in Epirus\, North-Western Greece\, on the basis
of extensive fieldwork. I will first provide some
information on the background and basic linguisti
c properties of these varieties. Then\, I will foc
us on a number of phenomena with 'mixed properties
'\, such as certain uses of the medio-passive SE o
r the system of anaphors/logophors\, which could b
e argued to be the result of language contact with
  Greek.
