DESCRIPTION:This seminar will present the evolution of the emergence of th
 e nuclear family in Mexico since the spanish conquest in the XVI century u
 ntil nowadays. This  will be made taking three analytical dimensions: the 
 structure\, the nucleus internal relationships and the kinship relationshi
 ps and their evolution through time. In the XX century we will focus on th
 e particular connotations of modernity assumed by different types of the n
 ucleus internal relationships
