DESCRIPTION:For our April lecture we are pleased to welcome Ch
 ris Daniels of Hybrid Air Vehicles Limited\, the B
 ritish owned manufacturer of the Airlander range o
 f aircraft.  Chris will describe the development a
 nd design of the Airlander\, the largest\, most in
 novative and greenest aircraft in the world today.
   He will explain how Airlander combines aerostati
 cs\, aerodynamics and vectored thrust to provide u
 nparalleled flexibility\, capability\, fuel econom
 y and safety.  Chris will also discuss the market 
 opportunities and potential market size of Airland
 er\; and complete his lecture by describing Hybrid
  Air Vehicles' commitment to projects that aim to 
 help inspire younger generations.\n \nAirlander 10
  successfully completed its first flight on 17 Aug
 ust 2016.  All objectives of the planned flight we
 re accomplished and the aircraft returned to its m
 asting site at Cardington Airfield in Bedfordshire
