DESCRIPTION:Dr Croall is a cognitive neuroscientist with a broad research 
 interest in the links between the neurophysiology of the abnormal brain an
 d cognitive problems.\n \nIn his current work he uses MRI imaging techniqu
 es to study these mechanisms in the PRESERVE study\; a clinical trail inve
 stigating the possible benefits of "intensive" blood pressure treatment in
  cerebral small vessel disease with regards to the patient's physical and 
 cognitive outcomes. \n\nIn his talk he will be presenting a PRESERVE analy
 sis examining how cerebral blood flow has been affected by the different t
 reatment regimes over the first three months of the study\n
