DESCRIPTION:In 1980 Gross conjecture a formula for the expect leading term
  at s=0 of the p-adic L-function for totally real number fields. After sta
 ting the conjecture of Gross I will sketch a proof of the conjecture. This
  is a joint work with Samit Dasgupta and Kevin Ventullo.
