DESCRIPTION:Eating meat\, especially processed meat\, has been
the topic of huge controversy recently – in Octob
er 2015 a World Health Organisation (WHO) report l
inked it to cancer. There is also growing awarenes
s of the impact rearing cattle for beef has on cli

meat. Are there solutions out there? How might we
eat in the future? What technologies\, policies an
d behaviour change might help? \n\nThis free talk
and debate will be held on Tuesday 17th May at 7.
30pm in the ‘The Divinity School’ at St John’s Col
lege. Speakers will include leading figures on foo
d sustainability Tara Garnett (founder of the Food
Climate Research Network) and Clare Oxborrow (Hea
d of the Land\, Food and Water Team at Friends of
the Earth). Local expert Angelika von Heimendahl (
Grazier and owner of Camcattle) and dietician Cari
ne Henry will be offering their expertise on this
global challenge. \nFor more details visit: http:/
