DESCRIPTION:The Cambridge Cancer Centre has established an Ear
 ly Detection programme as a key priority and it is
  with great pleasure that we announce the launch o
 f this programme.\nDr Harpal Kumar\, CEO of Cancer
  Research UK\, will speak about the importance of 
 early detection for Cancer Research UK and Profess
 or Sir Peter Gregson (Vice Chancellor\, Cranfield 
 University) will address the audience about the im
 portance of cross-disciplinary research\, as well 
 as his own personal experience of an early cancer 
 diagnosis. \nNewly funded early detection research
  projects will also be presented.\nProfessor Sir L
 eszek Borysiewicz\, Vice Chancellor\, University o
 f Cambridge\, will deliver the concluding remarks.
 \nThe event starts 3pm with tea/coffee and a drink
