DESCRIPTION:Perceived injustice in the context of chronic pain has been\no
 perationally defined as an appraisal of the severity and\nirreparability o
 f pain-related loss\, unfairness\, and blame. This\npresentation will revi
 ew a growing body of cross-sectional\,\nprospective\, and experimental dat
 a to show the negative impact of\ninjustice perceptions on the experience 
 of pain and chronic\npain-related adjustment. Processes linking perceived 
 injustice to\nadverse pain outcomes will be identified. Potential avenues 
 for\nclinical intervention be discussed.
