DESCRIPTION:I shall explain how exceptional field theory on a torus define
 s a framework for computing 1/2 BPS soliton loop corrections in supergravi
 ty. Their computation exhibits ultra-violet divergence cancelations in an 
 appropriate dimensional regularisation scheme\, and the corresponding effe
 ctive action reproduces the exact BPS protected couplings of the low energ
 y string theory effective action. \n
