DESCRIPTION:The Africa Research Forum (ARF)\, is an interdisci
plinary discussion group for graduate students\, p
 ostdoctoral researchers\, visiting academics\, and
Cambridge University faculty members doing Africa
-related research. Participants from academic disc
iplines across the humanities and social sciences
are welcome to attend our informal meetings. Rathe
r than polished seminar papers\, we prefer rough ‘
 works-in-progress’\, which are pre-circulated a we
ek ahead of the group discussion to enable partici
pants to have enough time to develop constructive
comments.\n\nThe current convenors of the ARF are
Dr Zoe Groves (zg242@cam.ac.uk)\, an historian and
a Fellow at Peterhouse\, and Dr Ruth Watson (riw2
1@cam.ac.uk)\, another historian based at Clare Co
llege. Please contact Zoe or Ruth if you would lik
e to share your research work with us\, we’d be ha
ppy to hear from you. If you would like to receive
notifications of upcoming presentations and copie
s of pre-circulated papers\, please sign up "here"
