 the strategic directions for Detroit?\n\n4. Who\, if anyone\, is currently
  in charge of the planning (and development) process in the city? And who 
 may be missed-out?\n\n5. Beyond bankruptcy\, are there resources that can 
 fund urban reconstruction?\n\n6. What can America (and other countries) le

 ies\, with an emphasis on governance and economic development in a metropo
 litan context. Recently completed a study of surface transportation option
 s between Detroit Metro airport and downtown. Scholarly research has inclu
 ded cross-national policy responses to urban decline\, with a detailed stu
 dy of how mid-west cities are responding to “shrinkage”.\n\n•	Public
