 cal+Sciences\n\nTo mark the release of the Synthesis of the Fifth Assessme
 nt Report (AR5) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)\, 
 CCfCS and CISL are holding a discussion meeting about the report. Experts 
 in each of the three IPCC working groups will present summaries of each wo
 rking group report\, and highlight the aspects that are most relevant and 
 interesting to wider society\, and across the working groups. We will then
  hear from David MacKay\, former chief scientific adviser to the Departmen
 t of Energy and Climate Change (DECC)\, who will give a perspective inform
 ed by his time working with the UK government.\n\nThis will be an ideal op
 portunity to learn more about the different working groups of the IPCC and
  to question the experts. The talks will be followed by an hour-long discu
 ssion session\, which will be open to the floor. The aim is to stimulate n
 ew debate by bringing together panelists and audience members from across
