 xternal electric field\, it may undergo deformations and\, occasionally pr
 oduce thin jets (called Rayleigh jets) that are of practical interest. We 
 study the drop's shapes and related bifurcation problems\, as well as the 
 possible mechanisms for jet formation.\n\n
