 dnesday 23rd April.  \nWe are delighted that Professor Deborah Howard\, Di
 rector of Research and Professor Emerita of Architectural History will giv
 e the next 'Crossing the Barriers' lecture entitled 'Architecture\, Music 
 and Acoustics in Renaissance Venice'.  The lecture will start at 6pm in th
 e Winstanley Lecture theatre\, Trinity College\, followed by a drinks host
 ed by Trinity College.  Dinner will be served afterwards in the Great Hall
 .\n\nThis event is very generously supported by Trinity College.\n\nThe Cr
 ossing the Barriers lecture series aims to promote University of Cambridge
  postdoc research visibility by offering an environment to exchange ideas\
 , concepts and views across different fields of research\, as well as offe
 r postdocs an experience of college life and an opportunity to meet and ne
 twork.\nPostdocs from all disciplines are invited to come to the lecture a
 nd afterwards for dinner at Trinity College. Tickets cost £21 for a welco
 me drinks reception\, three course meal and wine.  Registration deadline 1
