DESCRIPTION:Alex Imas is currently a Fellow in the Social Decision Science
 s\ndepartment at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests\ninclu
 de behavioural and experimental economics\, particularly how\nsocial conce
 rns and emotions influence decision making and\npreferences. His current r
 esearch examines the effectiveness of\npro-social incentive schemes across
  a variety of domains and how\nsubtle changes in social norms can have a l
 arge effect on behaviour.\nHe is also working on exploring the relationshi
 p between self-imposed\nmental accounts and risk attitudes. Alex completed
  his graduate\nstudies in economics at the University of California\, San 
 Diego and\nearned a BA in economics and chemistry at Northwestern Universi
 ty.
