DESCRIPTION:This seminar covers key visual records of the Indian National 
 Movement. Film clips selected from newsreels\, feature films and documenta
 ries\, alongside posters and newspaper illustrations are discussed in rela
 tion to rare photographic records selected from British and Indian archive
 s. The seminar also pays a particular attention to the documentary merit o
 f several amateur films and photographs held by the CSAS (Cambridge) and t
 he Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (Delhi).\n
