DESCRIPTION:Neurodegenerative diseases\, such as Parkinson's disease\, are
  devastating and cause an enormous socio-economical impact. The developmen
 t of effective drugs to cure such diseases is one of the biggest scientifi
 c challenges of the 21st century. During my presentation\, I will outline 
 the novel strategies for drug design and innovation used during my PhD\, w
 hich include the combination of fluorescent worm models with camelid antib
 ody fragment technology and chemical compounds.
