DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday the 8th February\, Archbishop Vincent Nichols wil
 l deliver a public lecture on Jewish-Christian relations. The high profile
  Woolf Institute lecture\, which will take place at St Edmund's College\, 
 starts at 5.30pm and will be dedicated to the memory of Melanie Wright (19
 70 - 2011)\, the first Academic Director of CJCR.\n\nVincent Nichols is th
 e 11th Archbishop of Westminster\, having previously been Archbishop of Bi
 rmingham. He was installed as Archbishop of Westminster on 21 May 2009 fol
 lowing the retirement of Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor. In 2010 he recei
 ved an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Birmingham University\, and in 2011 h
 e received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Liverpool Hope Universit
 y. Archbishop Vincent Nichols is a patron of the Woolf Institute as well a
 s a number of Catholic charities including The Passage and the Cardinal Hu
 me Centre. \n\nThis lecture will be the Archbishop's first major public ad
 dress on Christian-Jewish Relations since becoming Archbishop of Westminst
 er.\n
