DESCRIPTION:I will explain a general framework for understanding the\ngeom
 etric Langlands correspondence via non-abelian Hodge theory and\nHitchin's
  abelianization. I will show how this framework can be used\nto produce He
 cke eigensheaves explicitly. I will also illustrate the\ngeneral strategy 
 on the non-trivial example of the projective line\nwith tame ramification 
 at five points. This is a joint work with\nR. Donagi and C. Simpson.
