DESCRIPTION:In the core of a tokamak\, the evolution of the ions distribut
ion function can be described by a kinetic transport equation whereas the
electrons are assumed to be at thermodynamic equlibrium and the electrical
potential is givne by the electro-neutrality equation. Moreover\, gyroave
rages are performed in the directions perpendicular to the magnetic field.
This induces different properties of the ion distribution function in the
directions parallel and perpendicular to the magnetic field. In this talk
we will stress them when deriving existence and uniqueness of stationary
solutions\, as well as well-posedness of a diffusive gyrokinetic model.
