DESCRIPTION:I will presents new observational tests of the LCDM paradigm. 
 In \nparticular I will focus on the following questions: are there univers
 al \ndark matter profiles? is there dark matter substructure? What is the 
 \nequation of state of dark energy? I will discuss the results underlying 
 \nthe crucial need to uderstand the interplay between baryons and dark \nm
 atter as part of the paradigm.
