Across the globe\, racialised communities f ace vehement hatred and violence as governments mount attacks on progressi ve politics around race\, gender and sexuality. But why\, in such urgent t imes\, has anti-racism retreated into forms of identity politics that ofte n locates the problem of racism in individual (white\, male\, able) privil ege or considers solutions through individual obligation? Throwing up a wa ll between black\, brown and white people undermine the potentials for sol idarity and radical change.
