DESCRIPTION:The Standard Model of particle physics (SM) has been challenge
 d in recent years by measurements from the LHCb collaboration involving ra
 re B meson decays. These processes\, involving a b -> s ll quark transitio
 n\, are highly suppressed\, happening less than once in a million decays.
 Thus\, they offer an ideal testing ground for the flavour sector of the SM
 \, as any enhancements in their rates would be a smoking gun for New Physi
 cs (NP) phenomena. So far\, most of these discrepancies have been reported
  in decays involving muons\, while processes involving electrons are still
  largely unexplored experimentally. If NP is behind the current anomalies\
 , b -> s ee decays\, with their unique experimental signatures\, can indep
 endently probe this. This talk will cover the experimental challenge of de
 cays with electrons in their final state\, focussing on angular analyses\,
  and how they can improve our understanding of the so-called "flavour anom
 alies”.
