DESCRIPTION:Open science practices are often adopted with the aim of makin
 g research more accessible and reproducible. In this talk\, Dorothy will g
 ive examples of how practices such as pre-registration\, open data and cod
 e\, and open peer review can play a major role in tackling research fraud.
 \n\nThe talk will be given by Dorothy Bishop\, Emeritus Professor of Devel
 opmental Neuropsychology at the University of Oxford and a prominent advoc
 ate for open science and research reproducibility. Alongside her influenti
 al work on developmental language disorder\, she now challenges questionab
 le research practices and promotes transparency and fraud detection in aca
