  Mirzakhani's birthday and highlights her mathematical contributions &mdas
 h\; we will screen Secrets of the Surface: The Mathematical Vision of Mary
 am Mirzakhani. The documentary presents her work on Riemann surfaces and m
 oduli spaces\, tracing her path from her early years to becoming the first
  woman to receive the Fields Medal.\n&nbsp\;\nThe screening will take plac
 e during the Random and Arithmetic Models in Spectral Theory&nbsp\;worksho
 p. One of the main themes of the workshop is on &ldquo\;random&rdquo\; hyp
 erbolic surfaces\, and many of the key developments in this area stem from
  the breakthrough contributions of Maryam Mirzakhani.\n&nbsp\;\nYou can vi
