DESCRIPTION:The Research Councils are encouraging researchers 
 to be actively involved in thinking about how they
  will achieve excellence with impact and to explor
 e the pathways for realising the impact. For this 
 reason\, the Research Councils have introduced a “
 Pathways to Impact” section at application stage w
 here researchers are required to consider what the
  impacts of their work might be and how it can be 
 realised. \n\n*The Engineering and Physical Scienc
 es Research Council (EPSRC) will be giving a prese
 ntation on “Impact” including\;*\n\n*	What is impa
 ct and why is it important?\n*	What do I need to d
 o when writing my application?\n*       Tips for w
 riting a good Pathway to Impact\n*	Opportunity for
  Q&A\n\n*Who should attend?*\nAnyone who has an in
 terest in EPSRC research grants including academic
