DESCRIPTION:There has recently been considerable interest in describing th
e universality classes that can live on impurities within an otherwise con
formal system. A number of these defects\, such as the magnetic line defec
t in the O(N) model\, have been studied extensively\, but a more complete
list of such theories is lacking. In this talk I will detail a series of r
ecent works advancing a partial classification of lines\, surfaces and int
erfaces appearing in scalar\, and scalar-fermion bulks in d=4-&epsilon\;.
I will then discuss various generalizations of these defects\, such as com
posite defects as well as defects lying within an RG interface between bul
 k universality classes.
