DESCRIPTION: I will review a framework for studying non-invertible symmetr
 ies in one-dimensional quantum lattice models. Using this framework\, one 
 can easily define gauging operations and construct representatives of symm
 etric gapped phases. After highlighting features of the entanglement struc
 ture of ground states of gapped phases with non-invertible symmetries\, I 
 will describe the fate of gapped phases under gauging operations. I will c
 onclude by mentioning implications for the simulation of many-body systems
 .
