DESCRIPTION:Symmetries give powerful non-perturbative constraints on qunat
 um dynamics. In this talk I explain how symmetry can act on extended dynam
 ical defects\, and how many well appreciated concepts\, such as 't Hooft a
 nomalies\, extend to such setup and provide novel constraints for defect R
 G flows.&nbsp\;I will then discuss families of symmetry-breaking defects\,
  and explain how bulk 't Hooft anomalies can influence their topological p
