DESCRIPTION:I will discuss new results on the ideal structure of reduced c
 rossed products over discrete groups\, as well as the ``boundary-theoretic
 &rsquo\;&rsquo\; techniques that underlie these results. We obtain a compl
 ete characterization of primality and\, for FC-hypercentral groups\, a cha
 racterization of the ideal intersection property. This is joint work with 
 Larissa Kroell and Camila Sehnem.
