DESCRIPTION:An introduction to a paper resulting from the interdisciplicar
 y collaboration between computer scientists and social scientists\, last N
 ovember in Dagstuhl.\n\nThe topic of the seminar was “Network Democracy
 ” and for five days\, we discussed tools for representation\, direct dem
 ocracy\, power\, trasnparency and democratic institutions. This was a refr
 eshing break form the traditional “e-voting = e-democracy” caricature.
 \n\nThere will be a talk outlining the interesting parts of the paper from
  a security perspective\, followed by discussion.
