DESCRIPTION:The increasing availability and resolution of spat
ially resolved sequencing on human tissue samples\
, such as Spatial Transcriptomics (ST)\, provides
rich and spatially resolved molecular information
to diagnose and analyse tumours beyond the morphol
ogical information routinely available to patholog
ists through Whole Slide Images. Complex morpholog
ical and molecular spatial information becoming av
ailable at scale requires building robust multimod
al AI architectures that take advantage of such hi
gh-dimensional information. \n\nThis talk will cov
er recent advancements from our group in building
such models\, looking at the intersection of robus
t multimodal learning\, learning from hierarchical
structures\, and representation learning for spat
ially resolved transcriptomics. \n\n"You can also
