DESCRIPTION:The aim of this technical talk is to introduce students to the
  type of work that many of the world's largest companies spend most of the
 ir IT budgets doing.  We'll introduce a simple "Internet of Things" data p
 rocessing pipeline (along with two white cats) and then discuss the challe
 nges involved in designing a more complex\, elastic solution that's capabl
